DMCA Notice & Takedown

Brytecore, Inc. ("Brytecore") respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable law.

Reporting alleged infringement

If you believe that material available on our site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective, your notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (such as the URL);
  4. Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.

Counter-notification

If you believe material of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or their agent.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

Brytecore will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
